It has been revealed that Rare developed Kinect Sports, Microsoft's equivelant of Wii Sports. We revealed at the last E3 event that Rare were working on a Wii Sports style title and now it's confirmed.

At Microsoft's event they showcased several games for their new controllerless technology, which has now been given a final name; Kinect. These games were Kinect Sports, Kinect Adventures, Dance Central, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved and Joy Ride.



We also said Rare were working on a fitness game, but we cannot confirm whether Your Shape: Fitness Evolved is that game.

Once I've stopped laughing I might post some information about the game, but for now Eurogamer have had a hands on with Kinect and in their article they talk about Rare's launch title.


While no official announcement has been made regarding the price of Kinect, new rumours suggest that it will retail at $189.
